The location of the building is fairly close to the airport. It’s just a short drive above the airport, the taxi was just 200Baht. The apartment itself cost $152AU, that was split between two of us which made it just $76AU per night each. We were two solo travellers so if it was couples travelling then it makes it even more unbelievable value. Don’t forget there is also a third bedroom so it can sleep up to six people. That would make it just over $25AU a night. Right next door is a small night market, just down the street there is a cool cat cafe and just a few streets away is a real hip, happening bar/food area. Im not sure it’s busy every night in this area but it sure was packed and hard to find a seat when we were there. I’m not even sure what it’s called, it does not even show a street name on google maps. Ill create a map below to help you find it. There is loads of options and it is super cheap. Both of us were craving some fabulous spicy Thai food. Surprisingly, we didn’t get much in Vietnam which is where we just arrived from. What better food to choose as a “Welcome to Thailand” dish than the famous Tom Yum. JC had the Tom Yum Goong (Shrimp), I had the Tom Yum Gai (Chicken).
It is also super close to the Maya Lifestyle shopping centre. There are co-working spaces here which is popular with the Digital Nomads. Now totally off topic, check out below this cool life size Batman statue that was for sale in the Maya Mall.

As this place is a little out from main tourist areas you will most likely need transport. Cabs regularly drive past or you can book them online. You can catch a Songthaew (red ute) but they don’t pass by the apartment often enough to be super convenient.
